Sunday afternoon, March 29, 12:30 PM Chocolate is awesome, and a chocolate auction is a great way to raise $$$$ for UUSE! This year’s chocolate auction helps celebrate the end of our 2026 Annual Appeal. All members and friends of UUSE are invited to create chocolate confections (cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, and any other kind of chocolate dessert you can imagine). Bring your creations to the meeting house on the 31st (include your name and a list of ingredients). Then, come to the auction at 12;30 and bid on whatever looks best to you! Bring your check book or cash and pay when you collect your WINNINGS. It's that simple!!! We need 5-6 volunteers to help out on the 17th. If you'd like to volunteer, please contact Rev. Our guest speaker this morning is Marika Stewart, an organizer with the Greater Hartford Interfaith Action Alliance. Ms. Stewart will provide reflections on GHIAA's past successes and its vision for the future of our state. She will also share the reasons why she is drawn to the work of faith-based community organizing. GHIAA, established in 2019, is a diverse organizatin of lay leaders and clergy intersecting race, class, gender identity, religion and geography to build relational power that addresses social justice challenges in local communities and beyond. UUSE is a proud GHIAA member and fully supports its endeavors.     < To Upcoming Services Watch the eBlast for the next scheduled Peter Mayer Minnesota's Peter Mayer has been singing and songwriting full-time for over 20 years, performing in venues across the United States and beyond. He writes songs for a small planet--songs that celebrate life on earth and the mysterious and wondrous fact of our existence--songs about the vast cosmos that surrounds us and how we are a part of it all. He also writes songs about dress hats, pumpkins and pajamas, and even love and freight trains just like a good folk musician should. His music has been performed by artists like Kathy Mattea, David Wilcox, Claudia Schmidt, Anne Hills, Priscilla Herdman, Darryl Purpose, Billy Jonas, and Ronny Cox, to name a few. Fact: 1 in 2,000 babies is born with genitalia so ambiguous that the doctors cannot easily answer this question.
