UUSE's monthly coffeehouse opens its 25th season. Sign up starts at 6:00 P.M. -- performances start at 6:30 P.M. NEW START TIME! Poets, singers, songwriters, storytellers, bagpipers and performers of all kinds may sign up for a10-minute or two-song slot. Non-performing audience members are warmly welcome. The Membership Committee wants to keep our seasonal Community suppers going, but we need your help! If you would like to host a "Summer Supper" at your home sometime in late July or August, please contact Sue Myers via email (uuseoffice@uuse.org ) or phone 860-646-5151) by July 10 and let her know the date and time for your event and how many guests you can accommodate. She'll send you back a quick questionnaire to gather further details for the sign-up sheet. Hosts are asked to provide a main dish. Guests will bring all the appetizers, sides, desserts, etc. We'll put your sign up sheet in the lobby after Sunday services on July 13 and 20. Questions? Come for an hour or stay the whole time -- whatever works for you! We will be sorting and counting bottles and cans for placement into large bags to bring to the redemption center. And we have fun meeting people as folks drop off their bottles and cans! Please contact Michelle Spadaccini at uuseoffice@uuse.org to sign up to help or with any questions. CYM Staff Emmy Galbraith Director of Children and Youth Ministry UUSE’s Committee for Children and Youth Ministry, Policy Board, and Rev. Josh Pawelek are overjoyed to announce the hiring of Emmy Galbraith as our new Director of Children and Youth Ministry (DCYM). Emmy has worked with UUSE’s Children and Youth Ministry in the past as a staff member, a volunteer and a parent.
