This course will be repeated on three separate dates and times: • Thursday, April 9 from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. • Friday, April 10th from 6:00 -- 9:00 P.M. • Saturday, April 18 from 6:00 -- 9:00 P.M. This training is available for all UUSE members and friends for free. Space in each session is limited to a maximum of 12. Make your reservation early by calling the UUSE office at 860-646-5151. Youth will provide games, activities and a snack with adult supervision. Drop off your gifts at our wrapping station (with or without your favorite wrapping paper). We will wrap them for you in gift bags or wrapping paper while you're out. $13 per hour for the first child; $7 per hour for each additional child. $3 per gift wrapped. Nora Mijares Alpers-Leon is an indigenous (Colombian) mother, developmental psycholinguist and educator, who has a background in dance, yoga, and mindfulness. She completed 2 bachelor and 2 master degrees and a graduate certificate between UW-Madison and UConn. She did her Yoga Teacher Training in the Berkshires, and has led mindfulness workshops and talking circles in the United States and Colombia with both adults and children.
