For the Love of ... Place

Guest Minister: The Rev. Alison Cornish. For each of us, there are places that hold a special place in our hearts. We love them because of what we have experienced there, or the discoveries we have made, or even the relationships we have with the more-than-human who also inhabit that place. But is it possible for us to experience love from a place as well as for it? What might that feel like? What liberation might it offer? (Rescheduled from January 7.)

That Long Arc of the Moral Universe

Josh and Emmy Galbraith explore those stirring words from Martin Luther King, Jr., (adapted from 19th century Unitarian minister Theodore Parker): "the moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends toward justice."

Things Worth Praying For

This Sunday we welcome Rev. Josh back from his sabbatical. Our service will name challenges at home and abroad, or as Josh puts it, 'things worth praying for.' Guest musicians Anhared Stowe, Ryan Ford and Marilyn Krentzman join UUSE Music Director Mary Bopp in a presentation of J. S. Bach's Violin and Oboe Concerto in C Minor.
