Annual Meeting

Annual Meeting

Dear UUS:E Voting Members:

UUS:E’s 2023 Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday afternoon, May 21st shortly after the 11:00 am service ends, with an option to join in Zoom using the Sunday Service Zoom link.

Our Constitution requires a quorum of voting members to be present at the meeting to vote on business items. Please plan to attend either in person or on Zoom to help us accomplish this important Society business! For those attending in person, feel free to bring lunch and eat during the meeting.

The agenda for the Annual Meeting will include the following:

1) Approval of the 2023-24 UUS:E budget. View the budget here.

2) Approval of the 2023-24 slate of officers and leaders. View the slate here.

3) Expressions of gratitude to outgoing leaders.

4) Approval of amendments to the UUS:E Constitution. View a summary of the proposed amendments here and a copy with detailed changes here. (This like will be live by 5/2 at the latest.)

There are four ways you may vote at the Annual Meeting:

in person at UUS:E;
by mail/email absentee voting form;
by proxy;
By Zoom poll during the meeting
Mail/Email Voting Form: If you are unable to be present for the meeting but wish to vote absentee, please copy and use the form here. Return a hard copy to the UUS:E office at 153 West Vernon St., Manchester, CT 06042, or email a photo to uuseoffice@uuse.org by Friday, May, 19th at noon.

Proxy Form: If you would like to vote by proxy, please copy and fill out the proxy designation form here. Be sure to advise your proxy of your wishes in advance of the meeting. Your proxy can bring the completed proxy form with them to the annual meeting, or you can send the completed proxy form to the UUS:E office by Friday, May 19th at noon.
